*Life is not always a bed of roses. Sometimes a man passes through grim experiences of life that sap his resilience beyond measure. At other times, life is simply “sweet,” too rosy to dismiss. In sum, life is a mixed grill of the good and the bad.*

*The Lord Jesus had been speaking to His disciples. He had shared with them eternal perspectives and then some mountain-top experience conferred power and authority on them. While they were basking in that excitement, He immediately proceeded to tell them of the grim reality that they would face and a possible backlash from those who lacked maturity and might turn from the faith.*

*Today’s religious people easily prefer sugarcoated messages which arouse their sensual dictates and massage their ego, than sound, biblical teaching and eternal exegesis with the capacity to build them up in the most holy faith. No wonder, healing, prosperity and so-called dominion theology have seemingly relegated to the background, holiness, self-denial and heaven. Mercifully, the foundation of God stands sure and those who mutilate, manipulate and twist the word of God for carnal considerations, do so to their own dire and eternal peril.*

*To maintain a mature Christian life that can usher us into God’s holy kingdom, we must have a balanced diet of every part of God’s commandment. No part of the word of God must be put aside as too hard, too simple or irrelevant. Hearing or teaching only the “sweeter” side of the gospel without accepting the sacrifices, consecration and the cross to bear, is like feeding only on meals with a heavy sugar content without taking into consideration the possibility of one’s health being impaired eventually.*

So after watching “five feet apart” “plus one” and “then came you” I finally realise that life is way too short not to enjoy every moment

I now understand that life has a full package of adventures and excitement and it will all just pass you by if you don’t grab it

So now, I have decided that no matter what I am going through or what might be happening around I’m going to live my best life

I am going to live my life like it is the last and not with fear but with all the excitement and enthusiasm my body can give.

One of the best things that can happen to anyone is finding love; not necessarily a boyfriend or girlfriend, it could be just a friendship; friendships that add value to life itself, friendships that changes ones life forever (in a good way of course)….. if you have that please hold on to it like it’s all you’ve got and if you don’t, open up your heart to love…

I have decided to LIVE

How did your Sunday go?

After watching ‘five feet apart’ and ‘plus one’ I want to talk about love because i am in my feelings at this moment

So, there is a lot to say about love. Here is what I got:

WHAT IS LOVE?

The word is mostly used according to the first definition given in the dictionary: “an intense feeling of deep affection.” In other words, love is what one feels.

After years spent speaking with couples before, during and after marriage; and of talking to parents and children struggling with their relationships, I am convinced of the partiality of the definition. Love should be seen not as a feeling but as an enacted emotion. To love is to feel and act lovingly.

Too many women have told me, bruises visible on their faces, that the husbands who struck them love them. Since they see love as a feeling, the word hides the truth, which is that you do not love someone whom you repeatedly beat and abuse. You may have very strong feelings about them, you may even believe you cannot live without them, but you do not love them.

The first love mentioned in the Bible is not romantic love, but parental love (Genesis 22). When a child is born, the parent’s reaction to this person, who so recently did not exist, is to feel that “I would do anything for her.” In the doing is the love—the feeling is enacted. That is why we often hear the phrase “you don’t act like you love me.” We know in our bones that love is not a feeling alone, but a feeling that flows into the world in action.

Between human beings, love is a relational word. Yes, you can love things that do not love you back—the sky or a mountain or a painting or the game of chess. But the love of other people is directional. There is a lover and a beloved—you don’t just love, but you love at someone. And real love is not only about the feelings of the lover; it is not egotism. It is when one person believes in another person and shows it.

We would have a healthier conception of love if we understood that love, like parenting or friendship, is a feeling that expresses itself in action. What we really feel is reflected in what we do. The poet’s song is dazzling and the passion powerful, but the deepest beauty of love is how it changes lives.

Hey guys, so I have not really posted anything today because I have been somehow busy. I’m just going to brief you how my Saturday went.

So I woke up, said my prayers(the regular morning routine), then I washed my clothes, arranged my room and had break fast. I had a really long video call with my big sister about taking some of her clothes and some stuff; also talked to one stubborn human being about putting his life in order😂😂. Took my bath by like to 12 then went out to my friend’s house.

Now, at my friend’s house, we tried making scotch eggs and it came out quite nice I must say.

Here are some pictorial evidence to support my claim:

I think I should post the pictures first before giving a run down on the recipe for the scotch egg

So you boil your eggs and get bread crumbs. Now you get bread crumbs, we bought bread (obviously), toasted it with a frying pan and then blended it with a blender

The eggs are boiled now

This is a mix of blended sausage, a cube of knorr and a little pepper. We run this around the egg to get the reddish looking part of the scotch egg just right after the back

Next step is to roll your sausaged eggs into the bread crumbs

The next step is to dip your bread crumbed eggs into whisked raw eggs which should come out like this

Then finally you dip fry it…

And this is it… well it doesn’t really look like it from the outside and I think we were supposed to roll the eggs in the bread crumbs after dipping into the whisked raw eggs sha. Anyhow sha it came out really nice and sweet
